Topic: Master Tempo in timecode

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I need some help with master tempo.

I've reposted this as i think the original post i put into one of the guides by mistake :(

I'm aware what it does, and its a feature i normally use on my cd players when playing cd's, but i'm not quite sure what settings i should be using to enable this feature when i'm using tccd's.

There seems to be different possibilities. Do i just check the box in the time code config? Do i use the button on the skin? Do i have the cd players master tempo turned on or off (does it make any difference with tccd?) There are a few combinations, so which is best or correct please?

Gary.

1°) yes you have to switch off your master tempo on your CD deck. It's very important because it destroys the Timecode signla
2°) You have to check the master tempo option in the timecode config
3°) On the same pannel, select a value for pitch sensitivity of 500ms instead of 2000ms

So do i turn on the feature on the skin too, or does ticking it in the config box overide the skin?

Gary

the keylock on the skin is currently not for the timecode mode.
