Topic: TCCD CONFIGURATION

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Need help to conifure my tccd. Im new to it and don't have to much knowledge on it. My specs are HP Vista 120g hdrive ,1g of ram with 1.6 ghz amd duo core. Also Im using Asio4All , I don't know if that makes a difference, sorry I don't know to much about tccd. On my config tab I set everything as follows
timecode ,headphones, asio , and asio4all as my sound card. On performance tab ,it's set to auto, safe mode and overclock unticked. HDJC Control Panel set to WDM mode, and in timecode config , it's set to mode: smart , cd , smart cue and of course I turned on the cd players and no reading was available when I hit the auto config tab. Can anyone tell me if this is set up right?

What is the HDJC control panel?

You will probably have to reduce the the audio level of the time coded cd's. That means opening the MP3 file you have downloaded in a program such as audacity (its free) and lower the signal by 12-13db, then reburn a new timecode cd.

Thanks , but I've already burned the Cd at 12db. Now I just have to get all to work together.
I keep getting this error message saying to check my cables / or reconnect because there is no sound signal. Everything is hooked up good I been using it for a while now just without the TCCD. I use my console with VDJ everyday no problems.

Don't burn it AT 12db, reduce it by 12db.

Yes, you need to reduce the signal to VDJ work properly.

Well , I meant orginally I burned it at something else. Then I adjusted it with Audacity to 12db ,then I burned it again

Check the other thread about this, if you changed its size (Timecode Mp3) it might be the reason for your problems.
