Topic: virtual scratch delay

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I burned the time code to a cd in slow burn speed and then hokked up my cdj-1000 to my soundblaster live soundcard. The appears to be a small amount of delay be tween the time I press on the disc and the software stopping the song when compared to clicking the mouse on the disk.

Is there a way to fix this?
Do I need a higher quality soundcard?

I recently had the chance to demo the competeing software that has the external box you plug the turntables into and there is not a noticable time delay.

It's better with ASIO drivers but with a Sound Blaster Live Sound Card you can't install this drivers. So it's normal that you have a small delay when you scratch on your CDJ-1000.

Sorry for my bad English :(
