I'm using timecoded cd's, VDJ4.3 & Maya44usb & Vista. I was told the asio4all driver has a lower latency than the maya vista driver, so last night i tried it.

The system seemed a lot slower than usual, and at times sound was 'jumpy' with the waveforms in VDJ playing across the screen a bit 'jumpy' too sometimes.

I uninstalled the maya asio driver before installing asio4all. Even though i'm using asio4all, should i still have the maya asio driver installed, or was i right to remove it?

Also i can't find any instructions for asio4all. Maybe i have the settings wrong, but i'm not sure what they do.

I did have a 100% timecode signal throughout,, it just didn't play ver smooth.

Any help here would be appreciated before work this evening.

Cheers,

Gary

Thanks Roger, i will try those settings on my maya44 and see if i can work from there.

I've reinstalled the maya44 asio driver as well, but now asio4all shows the maya as 'beyond logic'

I'm guessing if i use asio4all driver, i should remove the maya driver and use the windows generic drive for the maya. Can anyone confim this, or tell ne otherwise?
