For what purpose, besides playing music in Virtual DJ?
Not sure if it is video-capable.

Just for VDJ.
it has a 128MB ATI FireGL T2 video card.
Isn't that enough for video mixing?

I have a similar laptop. It works fine for music playing, but i wouldn't use it for video mixing.

Hey,
Im not sure if you live close to 'Best Buy' electronics store. They are big in my area but I just purchased a great lap top from them. It was Gateway for $899
1.6GhZ Intell 2 Core Duo Processor (the GhZ might be a lil bit higher I dont have the thing in front of me right now)
2GB of RAM
140 GB Harddrive
I use it just for audio but handles everything great. Im not sure as far as video though.

I definitely need something for video (I already have 2 laptops for audio).
So far it looks like the Sony Vaio AR series is best (but I don't want to spend anything close to the $2,000 that they are asking).
