Topic: Confirming Recurse DOES NOT WORK on Mac

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I recently returned the dual core AMD laptop with 2 gig of RAM that I purchased for Karoake and DJ'ing off of VDJ, and purchased a very nice Mac Book Pro. I was weary because of the new release, but I must inform you that it is MUCH more stable which I wasn't suprised because I was already a Mac User. The only reason I ever tried the PC is because I was forced into it by the company I work for -- they were afriad of change as most PC user's are.

It is much more stable, and has yet to crash on me. I have really put it to the test moving large files while loading Karoake Files and playing them in front of a live audience. I have not done any of the precautions or tips and tricks as suggested on this forum either.

The point: PC version has an EXTREMELY important function called Recurse. You click it, and everything in that folder AND subfolder shows up. You can then hit Ctrl-A (which should be Apple-A guys) and drag it into a VIRTUAL FOLDER to optomize search time. I have over 400 gigs of Karoake music that are located in an assortment of 300 or more SUB folders, so I have been spending close to 15 hours and I am not finished on, clicking each folder, then hitting CTRL-A and dragging them individually...

Please fix this soon :-)

Matt
