Topic: mk2 no headphone channel control

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello all just upgraded drivers to:
2.CMK2.2007

Now the mk3 headphone channel selection does not work.

Selecting:
Deck A
Deck B
Mix and Split

All cause music to be sent out of one channel (chan 3), no music is mixed and you cannot here channel 4 (Deck B) ever.

Hopefully I can figure out how to downgrade.

Using the above driver, Virtual DJ 3.4 (free with the mk2), Virtual DJ 4.2 (trial) on XP.

This feature worked fine before the upgrade.

Now it still doesnt work after I uninstalled and reinstalled :(

hello are you using console edition or V4?

kind regards

Simon

I am using:
virtualdj_trial_v4_2

I reinstalled and dont have my cd-key so I cant try the original DJConsole that came with it.

It wasnt working with the DJConsole edition after the update, before I uninstalled.

bump

for the trial go to options and soundcards

choose

inpiuts: none
outputs : headphones

card : mk2

channels

1/2 main 3/4 headphones

then it works :)

This didnt fix it, I was able to pick Deck A and Deck B to listen to one or the other.

Changing the headphone select switch changed all channels, even the "main" ones that wouldnt be for headphone (1/2) changed output when the switch changed positions.

Mix and Split did not work.

Do the updates update the firmware on the mk2?

contact support and ask for your console serial.

that way you can see if it is the unit or the software.

I already did, its now working in the original version (after reinstall and upgrade), back to the demo to test.
