Just wondering what the differences were in these I have the first edition one. Not hercules dj console mp3 but hercules dj console. I notice that the buttons stick a lot of times and sometimes they are unresponsive due to the cheap rubber that was used. Is there a dramatic improvement in that area with mk2 and what other benefits are there from upgrading to mk2.

the mk2 can use timecodes
they have stonger buttons , buttons dont stick and the jogs are of a higher quality
there are more outputs on the mk2 and there is a improved mic inputs.

The build quality was also improved, using metal casing and not plastic as in the original Hercules.
The Original Console was a disaster for its play buttons failing, the MK2 fixed this and introduced other improvements, go for the MK2 or an alternative controller.
