HEY BJ
The Mac version only supports the NUMARK Virtual Vinyal soundacrd at the moment.
The DAC 3 is HID so no drivers should really be needed. But the Mappers on this site are Written for PC so you might be S.O.L, For mappers anyway.
I want an iMAC as well - but holding off untill I know the Hardware I want to use is supported.

I don't think the DAC3 has Mac drivers yet - and when I contacted their tech support they didn't seem to think they were in development.

THat's just it - I can't say I've ever had the problems that others seem to have with PC's. The ones I've built run well - don;t freeze up etc. - the only comp i've built that I'm not happy with is my home desktop - it's an INTEL dual core - every asus machine I've built really runs well.

marcel,
although im sure you build great machines, and pc's are awsome, this is where it turns into a mac/pc battle, personaly i run 3 pc's in the booth,
ive been pc all the way until i got my mac,
i was just saying to not hold off on buying one, the benifits to a mac go way past virtual dj,
if you know how to keep pc clean and not install all kinds of crap they run great, my lighting computer is 3 years old has 256 meg of ram and never crashes - but it only runs 1 program and thats it.
and if you truly knew what mac's do best you would own one - once you go mac you never go back
http://www.apple.com/getamac/
and at the end of the day it's just rock and roll, nobody cares what machine you have, they just came for the party
