This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I bought the timecoded vinyls and downloaded the software. I bought another sound card as well. Hooked it all up. One turn table would never work. Only could get it to work with one some times. It was hella laggy. HOrribly laggy, couldnt even scratch at all. This is why people try it with out buying the program cause you cant take it back. Im glad i saved myself the 300+ dollars or somethin for the program because i havent even touched anything related to VDJ after failing at it for a week. I wouldnt felt really fuckin stupid after wasting 300 dollars.

Did you do any research into what type of soundcard you needed?

Did you have the Asio driver properly installed?

Did you configure it properly?

This is a Professional Quality program, Requiring effort on your Part to properly set the software up.

BTW - This is more polite of a response than you deserve. If you need help - you have asked at least. Before you decided to bitch

Did you ever read the user guide under the help link? "Reading is fundamental" or better yet, it helps one to learn. This is an excellent program!

Something is not right there, I have had a sub-par pc with 2 soundblaster cards using tcv and got good response out of them. Now i'm using a u46dj and everything works fantastic. Having used on a few different setups i can say that the issues your having are clearly "your issues" and not that of vdj. Why dont you try posting your pc specs and what soundcard your using so we can see what might be happening.

i have to agree with the hardache that come with vdj. I have had vdj since 2.0(i think :) and it has improve a hell of alot, but to use it with timecode vinyl its not there yet. i can got into detail on what was told to me at musikmesse but it will get deleated again. the program is not ready for a real tablelist to use. thats just my .002.

my pc spec are duo core 3.2
winxp and tried w/vista(no go on both)
2gig ram
nvidiaa 6800gt
u46dj(crap)
Nuo4 Mixer

if you can help me see the light to use it live please do, until then Serato is for me

boogie, this guy has a setup issue and you just totally jacked the thread :)

why dont you just speak your peace, nothing will get deleted.

as of late i agree with the fixes shown in the funkturnal video shown with serato behavior but tcv does work pretty well.
