Well that controller seems to using MIDI, so you could use it as a MIDI controller for VirtualDJ :)

would the fader work...and would it be responsive?

You'd have to try it out... it should be very responsive as it's MIDI, but the best way to know is to try it... the DJConsole is pretty responsive when used in MIDI, so I guess that too should be ;)

It works better than good, it works PISSA!
Total control over every knob on the interface, split the duty with a DAC 3 and you have the best of the best in control.
Just put this new system together and lost 55lbs over my rack, 17 lbs with the mixer alone.

No analog mixer now, the new shuttle has a 6 channel sound card built in.
Just have to figure out my Ipod input to the speakers and i'll have it.
Just need the right drivers, fired this up this morning and went online to do that and got nailed with a virus, stoopit shit didn't have the firewall on, lol.
So now we are reinstalling everything all over again, this thing will never see the internet again.
BTW, I have seperate vol for A & B, main, gain, full 3 band eq for each, and still have 5 rotaries left.
I set 3 buttons up for pitch reset and a temp beat match for initial load up. The rest I rely on the DAC 3 to do.
And today we figured out the DAC 3 dead button problem thank God, for those who missed it it doesn't like usb 2, works flawlessly on usb 1 or a non powered hub.
