Topic: Advice for controller

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Ok, here's the short of it.

I am a SSL on Macbook Pro user.

I bought VDJ Pro last week via download and installed the OS X version on my macbook.
I ordered VDJ control records as vinyl is my preference for a control medium.
With the SSL box not being supprted at the current time and no way to control the internal fader in VDJ remotely, I NEED to buy an external controller that works now, out of the box preferably.

I just need some simple advice on what works for SURE, I'm willing to go buy it, I just want it to work......

Numark Total Control?
Hercules?

Help...?

Cheers!

I've heard that on the Mk2 the pitch sliders also control volume???? Is that true? I'm thinking of just waiting till the first week in may when the Numark Total Control PROFESSIONAL DJ SOFTWARE CONTROLLER is supposedly going to be released.
But, if you guys think the MK2 is a fully functional tool (to actually beat match etc.) I'll go with that for now.

thanks again!

in options there is a tickbox to either control pitch or volume.
