I did the trial. Loved it. Got the software but I need some help setting up. I'm having trouble with the virtual dj recognizing my tracks. When I loaded up for the first time it asked if I wanted it to find my Itunes playlists. That was successful but when I click on the song to be loaded on the deck I get an error message. I am using an external hard drive, all my itunes music is stored there. It's plugged in properly so I'm not sure of the problem. Could it be trying to reference the wrong Itunes file. If so, How do I change it to the Itunes folder with all my music in it. Any help will greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for responding to this post.

Browse to the iTunes folder inside VDJ, and make that folder a Favorite Folder (icon next to the tree browser)
Then rightclick that folder and choose "add to search database"
The error you are seing is because the refference to the song is wrong (song removed, deleted, name changed, or drive letter changed')
Hope that helps ;)

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

I was able to do that. Thank you. But I still can't get access to the playlists. The playlists must have saved to the c: drive instead of the external hard drive where all the music is. How do I find where the playlists are stored so I can then set it as a favorite folder also? I also notice that the BPM's aren't recorded automatically. Is there a way to set it up so the BPM are already stored instead of having to play the song for it to be recognized?

Each song need to be analyzed ONE time for BPMs to be stored.
After that its stored for ever in the XML database:)
To analyze a song or songs, you can either drag it to a deck, and let it load, or right-click one or more files and choose "analyze"
iTunes playlists can be imported. Right click just outside your favorite folders in VDJ (to the left at the browser), making sure you are not at a folder or object, and the "import itunes playlists" should show
The playlists will then apear in VDJ as VirtualFolders..

I tried right clicking to import playlists as you mentioned. The playlists do show up as virtual folders but when I chose a song from the virtual folder I still get and error. Also, How do I organize the library a little better? I can only really see the song name and not the Artist or info in the slot available.
