Ive been using virtual dj for about a year now and i just got the atomix dj mixstation 3
When i record the rate it records at is ridiculous..
EXAMPLE
i play a song for 5 seconds and its nearly a megabyte big.. so if i do a 20 minute mix its at 100 megabytes or more! when really before it was normal.. 30 megabytes max.
Ive done everything i tried changing the bitrate from 96kbs to 320kbs and it just goes at some ridiculous speed. Anyone now how i can fix this problem? thanks
and p.s I have the LAME MP3 recorder plugin so it shoudl be recording in mp3

it obv isnt recording in mp3 format then is it? what format are the files you are making? the sizes you are talking about are uncompressed. make sure the LAME encoder .dll is stil in the correct directory and is named correctly. try reinstalling the LAME encoder, if no luck then reinstal DJ Mixstation. better stil, go back to using virtual DJ! ;)
