Topic: Mac update 10.4.9

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

This update scares me. I tried to run torq the other day and my macbook pro does not recognize the usb connectiv as plugged in. I wonder how the new VDJ will run on this version (when it comes to fruition) I hear there are other audio programs running into stone walls since this upgrade. So here I am still using my old tired windows laptop. Grrrrr...

It's common for one company to blame another when something "breaks", but I haven't had any problems with 10.4.9.

Although 10.4.9 may have broken Torq compatability for any number of reasons, it's M-Audio's responsibility to it's customer base to fix it IMO.

Apple can't be held responsible for making everything that everyone wants to use on their Macs work. In terms of computers, it's priority is it's OS and it's own hardware.

I know that if that happened with VDJ/VV, that Atomix's Dev team would get on it right away. Not sit there, blame Apple, and even worse, tell it's customer to use another OS.
