I seem to remember there is a way to preview the samples without having them on the main speaker as well (headphones only). Does anyone know how to do this, or am I dreaming?

I think you can config how to prelisten samples on SOUND SETUP at CONFIG MENU.

On that menu when using a 4.1 as I do, it simply says to which channel the headphones or main speakers get assigned to. Whereas the samples are designed to play along with the song on the main speaker,
there would need to be a separate function to get the samples off the main speaker and into the headphones, and back again when you want it used, right?

Maybe if you made them volume to 0 you can prelisten them.

maybe so pdn, but where in the setup will it show me to listen to samples, i.e., wha do I click on to "preview samples".
