I made a demo CD tonight using my MK2 Controller....thats the only way I can figure out how to mix and record....anyway:

when I mix from one track to another there is a crackling noise while I slide the fader across to the next deck......it does NOT do this with my 3.4 edition.....

I may need some assistance with setting, I have no idea what a lot of those setting are, I just leave them where they were when I downloaded the program......whats the best settings????

Will this correct my "crackling" noise???

go to the performances pannel

1) Move the performance slider to the left

2) Change the sound card latency : increase the latency or select "auto"

I tried the same versions, 4.3 and 3.2. Found out that the problem is ONLY on 4.3 not in the older versions. I tried the fix you had mentioned but nothing works. I tried various setups, nothing is working right. I love to use 4.3 but with this problem, I will have to use 3.2 for my mixing until a fix in put in place to 4.3 to work well with the Herc. Mk2 Controller.

Please help.

It's the "latency" settings; try changing it and also disable "safe mode".

I also have this problem when I disble safe mode it gets even worse....so this is probably a solution for most people....
