Last night playing to a wedding party was not able to prelisten to next track using console , when i pressed the headphone button the tune played over the current track that was playing to the party
.On friday i i updated my software with the vista patch and downloaded the full version and went to the guillemot website and updated there ..any ideas please .djamos.

HI im still waiting for some help on this problem has anyone had this problem ?? im using dj control mp3 updated my drivers with vdj site and hercules site to vist compat , i cannot preview cued trak without it playing over curre ntly playin trak...please help desperate dj !!

follow the setup on that link to prelisten
in the new vista edition it should preview fine if you choose mp3 mode :)

Hi thanx for getting back to me, when i open my sound card conf i do not have any of the options that are shown in the link you gave me all i have is a pic of the dj control , not the dj control mp3 on the right of this pic there is a tick box saying.. headphones on 4.1 rear output[use the soundconfig selector for complete headphones support-pro version only] i am using dj control mp3 with your free software is this only a demo ? it worked fine on xp thank you djamos.

In config tab in VDJ - click - sound.
If you have a 4.1/5.1/6.1 soundcard built into your comp...
select the option that you would like.
I've used - main - channel 1/2
headphone 3/4
I'm pretty sure you can do this option with even the home edition that came with the MP3 controller.
You might have to tell the sound card in controll panel or the tools section of the soundcard software that it's supposed to act like a surround card.

Hi, i have a external 5.1 sound card which worked okay with xp ..but there seems to be a problem prelistening now with vista ! thank you djamos.

Hi i went to device manager right clicked my usb audio device..clicked update driver software and windows said the driver software was uptp date !.i have a aureon 5.1 usb sound card.

I am lost here you have a MK2 which has a soundcard in it, are you wantin the MK2 to be your soundcard or a different one???? I see you are tryin to use a different card, but you can utilize both or just the one in the MK2 or your external. If you use the MK2 as a soundcard you will not have issues with the preview.

Hi, dj control mp3 does not have a buily in sound card you need a 5.1 external sound card to prelisten to the cued trak.dj amos
