Ok so, after reading DJ Cyder's TCV article I realized the importance of carts on TCV quality. So, what cartridges do you use or have you used? Please tell which ones work great with scratching, mixing, etc., and which ones aren't so good. Thanks!

well you can't go wrong with the 44-7's or the digitracks qberts are by far the best needle i've ever seen, in terms of raw output. However most tcv problems usually blamed on the vinyl are really caused by a couple of things. Using old worn out needles (which in turn destroys vinyls) or incorrect setup of the tone arm. I did a follow up to the first article may be worth another look.
