Can you use smartripper to make backups of your own dvd's?
Either music or video.
Meaning take a dvd you legally own and make a dupliate of it.

If shrink comes up with an error and won't back it up. Smartripper will make a backup on your desktop and then you can use Nero to burn the backup dvd?

what version of shrink are u using? You could use smart ripper but the problem is you'll most likely need a dual layer dvd.

Dunno if nero will shrink it to fit a dual layer.
