In Virtual DJ is there still a way to make a mouse click in the waveform make the music hold like it does in atomix? I didn't see the option in the settings.

Yes simply click on the spinning record or set as a shortcut.

I did ask for this feature to be put back in during the beta tests.

It is not included in virtual dj as the record part of the skin is the sctratch pad.

However this does mean those of us with different skins that dont have a scratching area cannot scratch. :(

Its gonna take a while to get used to all these new functions and modify, rebuild the skins we have all become familiar with!

I'm sure there are people looking into right now so patience everyone !

Once we all get to grips with the flexibility of VDJ, More of our old great skins will emerge and some new ones too no doubt.

Hold can be set as shortcut or click on the record.

That means for people who use a skin without a record and people who like to see where a beat is in the waveform to drag it back we need to hold a key down while using the mouse side to side.

A bit of a mission

What do you guys say?

Can we have this feature back in, pleeeeze!

my skins simple. I get a lot of people in clubs looking at my setup and when they see the skins I prefer them not do have the vinyl decks on them. Otherwise people ask me why I choose software over decks and then have pictures of decks on the software. Is it because I really whish that I was using decks but am not good enough?

Can we have the hold feature back please?

I always use the waveform to scratch and having to hold a keyboard shortcut is lame

Thanks

We might reconsider this latter, but right now it's not in our todo list.
