Topic: multiple midi controllers for virtual dj 4?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

hi,i am new to this forum and would appreciate some help, i am currently a traktor dj 3/ bcd-2000 user and have been trying out the demo for vdj 4.2 which I must say seems pretty good especially as it offers native support for my mixer and has a dedicated sampler built in to the software. I was wandering if anyone could tell me would it be possible to add a 2nd midi controller to this setup ( ie- a behringer B-CONTROL FADER BCF2000 ) which i could use for triggering multiple samples with?

Yes you can have more than one midi controller, I use either the MK2 with an X-Session, or the DAC2 and the X-Session. So the answer is YES.

With my new MIDI SDK they can work on different MIDI ports... but someone must program them! (you can't take anything for nothing)
