Hey everybody,
I want to make my own mix cd's, just for fun, I'm just a bedroom dj. I want to master my mix before I put it to cd. Off course, the full mastering process won't be needed (I guess), because all songs are already mastered.
I thought about using L1, L2 or L3 from waves (compressor), to have more equal levels. Should I do more before burning my mix to cd?

Thanks skyfxl, useful tip. I just want to keep the 'live-feeling' of the mix, so editing won't be needed.
(If editing is needed, to perfect my mixing skills, I should perfect my mixing skills, not my editing skills ;))
But doesn't a compressor sound smoother, than normalization?

Waves mastering limiters are not what you want. Bsides their stupendous price are of little use in your situation..
Try the free kjaerhus plugins, besides being free they're good..

Well another very useful tip, Paulheu, I have heard about kjaerhus, but I didn't know they had free stuff. I'll google to them.
Thanks
