I just hooked up a U46DJ soundcard to my laptop , and when i try ti configure it in 4.1, it gives me an "ASIO driver error, not enough channels" or something along those lines. Does anyone know whats going on?

then install 1.016 http://www.esiforum.com/show.asp?db=esi&t=esi1&mode=0&msg=2876
reboot
plug in u46 and turn it on then after the u46 is active open vdj and configure

And attach it always to the same usb port. During the installation the sound card is only installed for that particular usb port. If you would like to use it on a port you want, you need to install it on every port.

All this being said, I find the U46DJ to be a SPECTACULAR soundcard. at about 50% gain
the mixer was way into the red. It seems to have more punch than my Audigy Creative cards
I used to have!!
