It is a great day here in America.
Voters took back control of our country by electing new leaders that will most certainly be more in touch and sensitive to world issues inline with the peoples wishes.

The first hammer to fall was to the head of the Secretary Of Defense Rumsfeld, and it was quite a relief to see a somber President Bush concede that his ways while not popular most certainly will be effected by the new administration.

It's not over by a long shot but the first steps have been made to bring world peace.

It has not been a proud time for most Americans despite our committed feelings towards those serving in our military who are also family.

We still have 2 more years of this President, but his control has certainly been altered.

Pardon us while we clean this mess up a little......

Rick

Then Bush in the same concession speech has the audacity to claim the "economy is strong" after he and his oil buddies jammed it so far up our butts that we were breathing vapors.

And now that they have lost, I fully expect and predict the prices will go right back up again right after the Christmas retailers have their way with our wallets.

We were only pawns in this election that they thought they could buy with lower energy costs.

Mark my word....

Rick,

keep your Politics off the board!

I love ya' man, but when you're crying because some mexican illegal takes over your boat business, because the dems want to give subsidies to poor illegals who just want a break, and some towel head blows up the bostongas tanks on the harbor, and wipes out commercial fishing, because we have to be compassionate and not screen people based on ethnicity, and some islamic fundamentalist blows up your wife and kid in the mall while they wait to get a picture with santa, and you've got to run to mexico to get quality medical care, because socialized healthcare turns quality medicine into a conveyor belt cattle market and creates two medical markets, the private practices for the haves, and the butcher shops for the have nots, just like in canada, and you as a business owner are taxed heavier because you took the initiative to make something out of yourself instead of standing there with your hand out saying "but you're the government, you care of me!" and fuel prices go up even higher, because the arabs see they can take advantage of us, because we're a bunch of spineless dems, Etc.... Etc.....

I'm gonna' Dig this post back up, and make you eat it.....

why is it that the worst economic times in history always follow 4 years after a democratic majority????????

the cycle my friend........

but as I stated, keep politics off the board, they have no place here.....

I'm not even going to acknowledge that post Steve, in fact I didn't even finish reading it.
This guy is a butcher, I missed Vietnam madness by 6 months so please.....

Mexico should become a part of the US, then that problem goes away.
A fence is as ignorant as it gets, like its going to fix anything.
Whats next, a fence along the Canadian border?
Lets see, 7000 miles of gill net to keep them from swimming in...
ummm......ya that should fix everything just perfect.

If we don't give the world a reason to take us out, they wont.
World policy man, world policy....

I will let the forum members respond to that, but i'm done.

Your solutions are part of the problem Steve.

Bushes defeat today was an amazing victory for democracy. People are joyful all over the world, a small justice has occurred, and opinion of the American people is very positive today. Bush and Blair are taking some heavy blows, they are falling, and the world is safer as a result.

One day we will be free, but today, at least one thing is true: we have a democratic forum where freedom of speech shines, and for just a moment we believe the world is a good place to be.

Can't you guys READ !! KEEP POLITICS AWAY FROM THIS FORUM. I may not be a VIP member or teamer or whatever but if i had the power i would give you all a 14 day ban for being so asinine as to mention politics in a peaceful loving atmosphere such as what we have here. All that politics and religion does is make people get their hackles up. I honestly thought that as DJs we were all above such trivial crap. I want to post so bad about what I feel about this election but I won't! This is a PROFESSIONAL forum and by regressing and yakking about politics takes away from the issues that are at hand. Maybe some teamer or whatever power that is will read this thread and not only lock it but maybe delete it. So now I will ask nicely.
Please do not post about politics here. Its not the place. Thank you.
By the way, in case you did not notice hackles are up because of this thread. If our collective hackles are up, how can I or anyone else on this forum.....

Keep the beat sweet?

Guys,
The last intention was to open a thread of turmoil.
This is a GENERAL forum where conversation about pretty much ANYTHING can be discussed.

Anything about Virtual DJ or AtomixMP3, or not about them*... this a general discussion.
Please be polite and speak with respect. All warez messages, or messages that contains insults will be deleted.

I honestly thought that this would be welcomed news in light of the situation in OUR world, unless of course you have your head stuffed in a dark place or don't care about anything but djing.
Being that this is an international community it seemed like the right place, apparently not.

We apparently have opposing views and I don't wish to let this thread deteriorate to the point where people get upset and get there "hackles" in a bunch.
It was intended to be POSITIVE and HAPPY.
So where that was not the outcome, I am closing this thread unless enough interest develops from private messages, its done.

I guess you can't please everybody.

Peace

Rick

This thread is perfectly clear in its title, if the subject is of no interest to you, you are in no way obligated to read the thread. The author is not in breach of the forum rules, but some of the responses have been, putting points across in an attempt to insult the author, participants or subject. The subject is a valid one and not at the expense of anyone's ethnic origin or religious beliefs (which is forbidden and illegal in most of the civilized world). Worryingly though, it's those who protest this thread, those who don't want politics here on the board..that are the ones being rude and bordering on making politically incorrect statements which may cause offense to some ethnic or religious groups, it's the ones who post along those lines who will be censored.
