How do you handle big differences in BPM between songs. Do you pick songs that gradually increase or decrease in BPM or is this just something you learn to do with experience? I have found if I use the beat match in VDJ and there is a big difference in BPM, it will either slow down or speed up the song too much that I am getting ready to mix in. By the way, I am new to this so be easy on me.....lol
Thanks

as a general rule try not to go over 4 % pitch changes
try to mix songs with similar bpm , arange your songs by bpm so there isnt such a large jump up

Thats what I figured. I assume that when you do want to make a big change in BPM you just do the best that you can with the mix.

if its unavoidable , jumps can be covered by samples
