Topic: software you use, to make edits...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

hi, im new to this forum and ive been looking and searching for softwares people use to make the 32 count when making edits at the intro and outro's. i got a hercules mk2 on its way this friday and so far right now im just trying to prep some audio. ive been using cool edit pro for a while, but its still not accurate. i cut beats and paste, but they dont syncronize.

does anyone have a easier software to use, w/ a format and or a way to make cool edit easier?

Recycle is good from www.propellerheads.se But it's expensive. I used to use it, but I'm sure there must be many low cost alternatives.

For audio files use Adobe's Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro), for Video files use Sony Vegas. Personally I like using Sony Vegas to edit the video portion and use Audition to do the audio for them because I like it better and have not had time to learn the audio editing tools in Vegas yet.
