Got to say overall the experience was awesome. As an EX (never to go back again) PCDJ FX user, everything from the installation of the software to running my show was awesome. Stable platform which does not crash on me (infamous with the PCDJ FX software) and being able to visually able to beat mix...ohhhhhh my, the experience was almost equal to being in the hot tub with Betty Jean who had just graduated from massage school and certified in deep water diving......
However, I did have some problems which I will attribute to my inexperience with the software. The first was, with the Herculies controller due to the close proximity of the Jog Wheel and the Channels / joystick and buttons, I kept on hitting the jog wheel on the channel which was playing, it would produce a undesired scratching sound. Is there a way to easily turn the jog wheel on and off?
Second problem I was having was the way the file names were showing up. I see this is a common problem, but being a novice when it comes to renaming files, is there a very simple explanation as to how to convert these file names into Virtual DJ compatable format?
Thanks

Use Hercules mapper (Not sure if its for home version) to disable jogwheels;)
And VDJ uses this as standard naming convention:
Artist - Trackname.mp3
You can easily use tools like Tag&Rename to make it in "VDJ format", or you can choose to read idtags in VDJ (might be both messy, and slow)
Hope that helps... ;)
