Does anyone find the HOT CUE buttons useful?
I personally would prefer the cue count down indicators in this position.

I personaly find the HOT CUE buttons on the default 4.x skin annoying. I'm changing mine to act like cue buttons in the 3.x version.

If I knew how to get around the XML I would do the same, I wish the EQ buttons were on the Default Skin instead of these, I also don't like the behavoir of the SYNC button.
I wish it would sync and play on the left click like the older versions.

I use the hot cue mapper with my dac-2 that was available for download (forgot who wrote it) but since it's not compatible for 4.1.....
As for the skins, - i use the old hercules dj console skin, it works ok. I never did like the spinning records on the default skin, looks like a video game.

I think the cue lineup on Mixstation is one of the best. The hotcues aren't that nice I agree, but its pretty simple to edit them to become like the old cues

In my keyboard shortcuts i use 4 cues per deck (F1-F4 & F5-F8)
The first cue is hot cue and the other are normal go_to_cue, while control+key does set_cue.
This works the best for me.
