a mode just for playing files (jukebox)
not mixing
no need for beat grids, like AtomixMP3
no analysing, no false entries to the database when you have no time for corrections

i know there's a "NoModifFiles" registry option
but...
just my opinion
just if it's not too much work

VDJ is supposed for live mixing. So when you simply want to play music, you better could use Winamp with a crossfader or gapless plugin. Just my $0.02
