Topic: 4.0 Database

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I apologize in advance if this has been addressed. In converting to 4.0 the database works (BPM etc copied ok) but now a lot of the tracks don't read artist/title properly as they are tagged in the folders and showed up in 3.4... Artists won't show up on some tracks...I just get "Various Artists" or Artist/Title are both listed under title. Tried copying the old dabase in but same situation...Any suggestions?

Still the same...certain folders it just reading the song title,,,etc etc...Ran a full scan again too...dont get it...same music folders...on one computer with 3.4 it reads all the file names fine... on the second with 4.0...nightmare

Help?

just copied my old database over...something must have gone wrong....seems fine now

Me too... as i wrote in another thread, i spent my half life to create tags..., now i hate them -)
