How about the ability to choose where the database and samples are kept, a la PCDJ? This would make life sooo much simpler when moving from computer to computer. It would be great if I could keep my database and samples on my removable music drive, and specify the location of these directories within the config, then it would save messing about copying files over every time I move PC...

Could already been done. There is a setting in the Registry named "HomeFolder", which is the folder where your VDJ database file is stored. Also all other Folders for samples, skins effects should be at that location. The default value is teh same as the installation folder.
Could be a nice option during the installation, to avoid manually editing the registry.
