Topic: problem ripping vinyl

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I seem to be having some problems ripping vinyl. I have my turntable hooked to an external mixer which the master out goes into the mic input of my computer and when I try saving the track I keep getting a message that reads impossible to save file....... what can I do to solve this problem? any help would be appreciated thanx
