First, to everyone involved in the making of this software, thank you. This software has helped me realize a dream of mine I have had for a long time and I am no professional DJ by any stretch, I do my thing, so thanks to everyone involved with it
Will 4.0 recognize, or allow you to import your 3.4 database? I have about 3,000 analyzed songs and I do not want to do that again?
Is there a date column in the Playlist window?
Has there been an improvement to the analyzer at all?

Yes, the database will be the same, just go in your VDJ folder and backup VirtualDj database.xml to new V4 folder and it will work! V4 will install in the same folder where is your 3.4 version and it will not delete your old database. I have 3 backups of database, just in case.
About new features in V4, you will have to wait to gets out and than all new stuff will be listed in
history.

Yes V3 database will be compatible with V4 database.
The database will have some new features, so if you use those features the V4 database won't be compatible anymore with V3.
But believe me, once you've switched to V4, you will never want to come back to V3 ;)
