I would like to be able to output my video remixes onto a file such as a wmv or an avi or other format

I'm using RiverPast Screen Recorder. Select the video window as your target, select your audio and video codecs, and start recording. Note: you can't move or hide that window, because this kind of programs don't read from the window, but from their position, so you'll record what id behind if you move it!

Can't do it without a third party software, I dont see why you would want it right away, the demo version won't even let you use the headphones to mix.

No, Philly, you can record with that program. However, I agree with you about using VDJ demo for such things...

@TexZK, I said you can't record "without" third party software meaning VDj can't do it, I know there plenty of programs that can.

It's ok i do it all the time myself, sometimes I just dont sleep for day's
