Hi I am trying to install the Virtual DJ software for Hercules console on my laptop but it is giving me the message in an alert box "wrong serial number - contact support at virtual DJ" when I open up the programme and going no further.
It recognises the DJ console fine but there must be a serial from a previous installation tripping the application up.
I've been through the registry on XP but cannot find the file.
Can you assist in how to get round this as I've tried the software and really like it.

The console-version doesn't need any serial number.
it sounds like you have a pirated version of VDJ.
i suggest you get rid of it, it's bad for VDJ customers and bad for atomix.
