i was thinking about giving song files numbers (and or letters) and using those to load the songs.
eg. the user being able to give Dem Franchize Boyz - Ridin' Rims a number and use that to load it. say, alt+shift+ DFBRR and that loads the song. (DFBRR from the name file.)
... or something along those lines.
'drop any ideas that find, load (and play) songs faster.

The shortcut browser_playlist and browser_open is a solution of this feature in VDJ
