Topic: Mac mini running windows w/ timecoded vinyl?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I was thinking i may consider buying a new mac mini. I have heard it is possible to run windows well on it with the new intel chipset, but i was wondering if anyone has done this and tried it withh the maya 44 usb and timecoded vinyl. I thought there may be some kind of drivers problem or something, but im not sure- i will deffinatly consider buying one if i can run my tcv system on it.

Anyone have any insight into this?

Thanks

Adam

I was seriously thinking about getting a pc laptop, but i've always wanted a mac, and a mac mini may be just as good- they are tiny things.

Maybe on new intel ibooks vdj will work as well as on new pc laptops. (hope so)... So just wait that someone can test it with new ibooks (not jet released). I rather have laptop than mac mini with lcd ;)

Well funding will allow either a mac mini or mid-range pc laptop. mac laptops are out of my price range at the mo
