DJ quickhands
I have a pair of numark tt 1625. I was looking at a shop and they said that they could get me a Technics SL 1200 M3D with a cartridge( I don't know what cartridge) and a case. They were asking $350 for the whole thing. My questions are A. do you think it is worth it or should I got for another turntable? B. how much of an improvement will it be from my old tables?

Where is this at. I need another pair of m3ds. I paid a lot more than that for my used ones. I think I paid $400 each with Ortofon Concorde S carts.

That sounds a little cheap for 1200's. I would be a little skeptical with a price that low. They could be gray market, meaning not made for sale in the US. They will work, but the warranty is no good here. I can not comment on the other TT's, as all I have used are 1200's, and I have not used them since 90'.
