Hi,
I have a Maya44USB -basically have you tried changing the audio settings within Virtual DJ? You should select Advanced mode (or called something similar), and specify the individual channels and deck allocation - channels 0 + 1 to deck1 and 2 + 3 for deck 2. This is from memory but should be about right.
Hope that helps

I did not know you needed the maya44 usb to hook up the Herculese as that is a ASIO soundcard in itself.
Are you trying to hook up turntables or dc players as well?
I see in your post that you have the outputs covered but what are you using as your input?
Also, put output 1 from maya to line in 1 in mixer and output 2 of maya to line in 2 of mixer. You state that you have both line 1 &2 output to line 1 input. That's why you only have sound on the left side (Line 1 would be Ch.1 on the mixer which is the left side of the crossfader).
This should fix your problem.
