Hi all,
After much deliberation, and following the great feedback for v3.4 I decided to buy some 2nd hand Technics yesterday and go the TCV route. I have a gig later this month which I will be trying it out at hopefully.
I've not really played with vinyl before as I have used CDJs for the last year and a bit of VDJ before that. However, I am hoping that this setup offers the best of both worlds as my old CDJs weren't very good for TCCDs (they were PioneerCDJ100s - but as they didn't have a scratch mode or touch sensitive platter, it made them quite hard to use with VDJ, although not impossible).
Now need to get my laptop finely tuned ;o)

Good luck with the transition to tcv.
it takes some getting used to but I'm sure you can do it. Just practice and you will get the hang of things just fine.

Will do. Picked up the decks yesterday - look in pretty good condition and the seller threw in some extra additional spare carts too. Just waiting for the TCV to turn up which I guess will be sometime next week (ordered Tuesday night, delivering to UK). Still, not having them this weekend will be a blessing as I really have to get some studying done for a Microsoft exam in a couple of weeks :o)
