i know virtual dj beatmatches itself but for about 90% of the songs it gets it wrong. i mix hip hop but it reads at like 150 bpm when it should really be like 80-90. and i look at the sounds that should represent basses and snares and sometimes its way off. is there a way to calibrate this or someway for it to correct beatmatching? how do you guys deal with this?
and also how do you guys set your sound quality, eqs, etc???
thanks in advance everybody..

I would recommend using mixmeister and set your bpm manually. Mixmeister gets it right about 90% of the time if not more.

there is a free dj tool that guesses BPMs for your songs and you can get it from mixmeister website. VDJ isnt that good at guessing hip hop songs because they dont have simple beats. VDJ is fine for dance music. best way to do at the momentis use the BPM window to set some anchors, takes about 30 seconds per song.
what would be better would be ether setting a BPM range so VDJ is more likely to get it rite or for VDJ to have a BPM tap that looks up to 5 BPM ether side of what you tap for the VDJ BPM
