Hey,
I've been listening to a lot of dj's mixes and trying to figure out how to make transitions between songs.
Listening to dj mixtapes is one thing, but understand how the transitions are occuring is the hard part.
My difficulties lie in the area of Bass. i can mix 1 song into another song with a really smooth transitions, but find it really hard to work with the bass because soon as i move the bass fader from song 1 to song 2 (yet still having song 1 looping in the background), the sound of song 2 over powers and you can tell its a different song. The transition gets killed cause of the bass.
Whats your adivse?
Thanks,
Viru

Turn the bass down on the song you are mixing into. Or even press the kill button.
As long as the BPM's of the tracks are close virtual DJ's automixing will work fine.
Looking at the BPM's of the tracks is the biggest tip I can give you.
