what are you going to use as an audio device?

do you want to use TCV?

what else can you get hold of in your area?

ive got some numark TT500s and they rock, cant get anything better for the price in my oppinion. and behringer tend to be a safe bet. german design, chinese manurfactue. plenty of spares cause theyre popular and if there was a problem you should be able to find out about it on the net (search the product + review on google to see what people have to say about it)

for TCV you'll need a good ASIO soundcard I recommend the ESI U46DJ which will work well with TCV.

Hey Turk...

The mixer is cool but you may want to step up the tt's to the Numark 500 instead of the 200's

the 500's are better quaility and more durable.

As for hooking up your tt's and mixer to your cpu, the maya44usb is a good soundcard. The gigaport is a good one too and the esi u46dj is also an excellent choice.

good luck

I personaly am NOT a fan of Stanton tt's.

my advice would be...

Do NOT get gemini TT's
Do NOT get Stanton TT's
Do NOT get lower end Numark TT's

Do get Numark TT500 or TTx
Do get Technics
Do get Vestax

For me the other Tt's are just a waste of money

The other Tt's are not BAD per se, it's just that you want something that will last and be able to grow with you.

What good is a TT that you can't play on when you do big shows with BIG sound?

Lower grade Tt's can't cut it at larger applications because you have alot more feedback through the tonearm and the base of the turntable causing a hum that blocks out the music and there is no way around it than to turn the volume way down or turn the bass way down.

Good luck friend...

DJcity is absolutely right. Don't buy a non-professional turntable and expect professional results. That is just crazy, like buying a Hyundai and expecting Ferrari performance. The professional tables are made to a.) sound good in a professional environment and b.) withstand the rigors of DJing day in and day out.

The anti-resonance features in pro tables are especially important when playing in the club. Think about this when buying the tables you plan to use.
