Hey, just thought I'd welcome myself properly now that I'm fully registered :). I'm Andrew, 18 from London. Have been DJ'ing in the bedroom on and off for about a year although my turntables have been collecting dust for the last six months or so, I promised myself when I get a TCV setup I'd start practicing again so wish me luck hehe.
Anyway will be flying to New York tomorrow for a week so won't be able to get any practice in (actually, my HDJC2 is with Hercules for an exchange so maybe my TCV dream will be slightly further delayed!) but hope to be able to contribute to the community when I get back.
Thanks for bearing with me whilst I was just a no license user and then home edition :)

Welcome in Andrew, smart choice ;)
You seem to like a good old fashioned debate, something this forum has been lacking recently, I'll look forward to your future posts ;).

Condradulations Andrew, now you will see what you were missing.
All kinds of doors open with the full version.
BTW, we have to go through withdrawal from time to time.
The first mix when you return is soooo sweet.

Thanks for all your welcomes and in case anyone was wondering, New York is a brilliant place, highly recommended :D
Unfortunately I still haven't got my HDJC2 back after waiting a month to get it, I've now been waiting over a month for a replacement :(
- Edit - my console came with a broken line/phono switch at the back which I attempted to glue back onto the console which voids the warranty apparently... shoddy worksmanship on Hercules' behalf, with components internally rattling about, a broken ground connection and the warranty is void beceause I tried to attach a switch back onto the unit, a 10p part from China which they will not replace - well I'll never be buying from Hercules again.

Sorry to hear of your problems with Hercules.
Get busy with the TCV's... It's fun :)
And YES...N.Y.C. IS a great place to be :) It's my birthplace and hometown, although it's hard to call New York a "town".
Cheers dude

Welcome to the famous VDJ community ;), Not many female DJ's, we are currently seeking more of them hehe, I know of two on this forum (or three including you) DJ Nikki and DJ Angels.
Now you have registered you should enter your Serial number into your profile so your user status is upgraded.
Again Welcome and I hope you enjoy Virtual DJ as much as we do!

Welcome Andrew. Sorry about your hercules problem.. You earned some points from me already since I live right outside New York City. And as a stereotypical new yorker, I would be going nuts with hercules about not covering it. Send a picture of your post and a picture of the behringer to their PR department or to the CEO. You'd be surprised what ends up on peoples desks. If it really occurred like you described that's crazy. I love your city too btw. Ask any questions you want here, use the other forums besides general discussion there is lots of good info there, and happy mixing. You joined at a great time, the software is really starting to be unbelievable and industry leading in many areas :)
