Is there anyone that can help me find a software or a hardware can completly remove the vocal or the instrumental on a song. If it does exist.
Thanks

Not possible, at least not with good results. Here are some links for more info:

By the way, there is a cool feature in new Adobe Audition 2, where you can visually isolate certain frequencies on the spectrum ( http://www.adobe.com/products/audition/newfeatures.html ).

To make it simple, imagine making a cake. You put in all the sugar, fruit, chocolate, rum, topping and everything, than bake it and let it cool down. Now, you want to get the sugar back to use it for your coffee :)
I cant find the post where I was also discussing the vocal removing, but in those links is some useful information. Anyway you can always search the web on signal processing techniques if you're interested.

Nice explanation Erxon.
For a lot of songs instrumental versions are supplied on cd singles. This will be much faster and better quality than trying to get the vocals out yourself.
An other option is to get Karaoke cd's. The trouble with those is that some parts of the song (eg chorus) contain (backing) vocals.
Ewout

Excelent erxon, agree with superstorm.
The best way to do it WELL is buy Instrumental or Acapella versions of the songs we want it that way.

I have uploaded today a new plugin : Isolator
I tried to make a clone of the Vestax' PMC CX mixtable. The target is to make better mix of songs.
But with this plug, you can manage the frequencies and try to isolate or delete voices as well.
Of course I agree with erxon, no plugin can separate voices from music of a song.
My plug must be tested by moderators before being available on vdj site web.
To be continued.... ;-)
