Topic: how do I use this midi thing

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Could someone please point me in the right driection on using a midi controller?

Sure. Plug it in. Open your shortcuts. Select a shortcut you want to assign to a key. Hit the key and thats it ! Save your shortcut and re do this for each one you wish to add.
 
how are midi sliders programed???
 
Set this value on the midi slider shortcut value : 4098

0 = minimum

2049 = half

4098 = max
 
Does that work for jog dials too?
 
i don't think, try : auto for the jogwheel
