Hello
I bought myself a DAC-3 controller yersterday. I love the virtual dj programm, but I want to know wether my DAC-3 will work properly (lights, time indications, etc) before I buy the software.
Can someone tell wether VDJ 3.2 will work properly with my DAC-3 or do you still have to use midi drivers to operate the dac-3 in combination with VDJ
Thanks in advance

VDJ has native support for the Dac3. A mapping is supplied with VDJ. If you would like to change something of the button mapping, you could download the mapping SDK and create your own mapping. If youre not a programmer, you could always ask somebody on the forum to create it for you.

Thanks for the quick response.
I must tell you guys that I'm a Belgian user. I do understand a lot of the things in this forum, but from the moment someone begins about mapping an programming your own device I must hook off (I don't understand). Is it possible to have the lights and time display work on the DAC-3 controller. I don't know how to programm so help me please.

The DAC-3 works with lights and time display in the latest 3.2 version of VirtualDJ - You don't need MIDI for this (Support is built in as standard.) I am also currently working on a much improved mapper for the DAC-3, which will be released very soon (Again, 3.2 is required for this - There is no support apart from MIDI in earlier versions.)
Unfortunately, I don't think a 3.2 trial version is available at the moment, but hopefully one will be released soon - Keep checking http://www.virtualdj.com/download.html or if you like VirtualDJ 3.1, why not buy the full version at http://www.virtualdj.com/purchase/

I do not know the DAC 3 , but I can tell you that the DAC 2 is working fine on the VIRTUALDJ version 3.x
You can even download some skin that looks like your DAC.
Best Regards,
Didier.

Thanks to all for your response.
I will wait until a trial of 3.2 is available and if I like the possibilities in combination with the dac-3 I will definitly buy the software.
