I have never had a virtual mixer and I'm not very familiar with how it runs, but I have always wanted to learn. I am interested to use the mixer for both personal and educatinal purposes. Where do I get proper software to begin. Can i get free software. Where can I get information on how to get started or is there anyone who can help me? Thanks in advance.

Well you found the right place by chance it looks like.
This is the best software there is and it doesn't cost a fortune.
Download the demo and read the user guide a little, load up some tracks and play for a while. The demo will work for 20 days and will not support multi channel sound for headphone cueing
The user guide will be here: start/programs/virtualdj/user guide.
Then as questions of a more specific nature come up, search the forum first then post them up.
Lots of experienced help here, don't be shy.
