I don't use video (yet) but I was wondering if this idea has any merit.

What about a video sampler that works in with the same theory as the audio sampler. Press the sample button and get a segment of video (with or without audio..?) playing. The sample might even be a static image.

I don't know how it could work or if anyone sees the use for it, but I understand this function is not available at the moment. Felt it worth sharing the idea.

Deff Yes on that one too.

Could also have the option that if you are just using an Audio sample it plays a static image too...an option of course.

I don't want to get to far into this cos I know a lot of ppl still don't wan't video and even I don't use it that much...but soon seeing a need for Alpha and Chroma Keying lol.

Hell yeah, that would be amazing!

And yes, some kind of keying feature would be nice. Even just a simple luma key (video replaces black) would be great for overlaying visual plugins over videos....
